It’s been some time, I know. I, unfortunately, had to take a hiatus during my pregnancy and after the birth of my twin girls. However, I’m back and working on numerous projects that have been on the back burner for some time now.
With that said, I have a new release under my Leah Blake name. The third book in the Love Your Dragon series is now available for purchase from Bookstrand! The fourth book has a projected release date for the middle of August. I am also working on a new paranormal series, and hoping to finish up the last two Casanova Cowboys books. They’ve been loooooong overdue.
Be sure to keep up with Leah news at www.leahblake.com. Don’t forget to follow me on Facebook!
Tyrus discovers his mate is Dante, one of four Hynesin heirs. Unfortunately, their first encounter is anything but promising. With Dante the top suspect in the abduction of his close friend, Tyrus finds himself waging war between his loyalty to his friends and the growing desires that consume him in Dante’s presence.
Dante has issues with authority. Losing his initial confrontation to Zhett, captain of the Dalistine, and finding himself prisoner on his grandfather’s ship, Dante has a deep chip on his shoulder. Yet, he is willing to forgo his grudge in order to earn Tyrus’s trust, and claim the sexy, tech-savvy man as his mate.
When Dante’s oldest brother lands in the hands of a dangerous enemy, Dante resorts to betraying Tyrus in order to save his brother. Can Tyrus forgive his mate for the pain he caused and rise above the secret of his past? Or will he sever their mating bond once and for all?

Good Friday Afternoon!
I’m thinking it’s morning, probably due to the coffee I’m still nursing into my body. The cooler weather didn’t help wake up the brain today. Hopefully the caffeine will 🙂
I sure hope everyone’s had a great week, and that you’re all looking forward to a relaxing, or fun, weekend. I’m sure trying to make the best of the school-free time I’ve got. Down here in Florida (I will not say warm because for us, it’s not warm right now), we’ve got the Florida Strawberry Festival going on full-swing. For those country lovers out there, check out the website (http://flstrawberryfestival.com/headline.html) for an amazing line-up of country singers. Justin Moore, Gloriana, Trace Adkins, Randy Houser…Oh my! I’m hoping to get up that way tomorrow and see some of the stars, and eat a TON of strawberries (I’m a berry lover). It’s quite a festival, so if you’re in the area and looking for something to do, drop by!
I think this festival is really revving up my excitement for the upcoming release of Mandy’s Homebound Cowboys, projected to come out April 4th. Brody is a rising country star making a huge splash on the music scene, but stardom doesn’t impress the born and raised Ryder gal Amanda Pearson, nor does it erase the bad blood between him and his brother Craig.
Although I’m all about juicy strawberry, berries aren’t going to fix the problems that arise between these three, even if they’re chocolate-dipped or shortcake-stacked (and really, who can be angry when indulging in some delicious chocolate-dipped heaven?). Ahh, sorry. I really have strawberries on the brain now. There’s no seduction by strawberries in this book, even if I’m seducing my taste buds at the moment. Hey, who knows what may pop up in the next book? There are still 4 more books to go, and things can get pretty crazy in Ryder, Kansas, especially on Colton’s ranch.
For those of you who aren’t following me on Facebook, Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys is now on Amazon, and should be available in print in the next few weeks. If you’re a Kindle owner, be sure to grab yourself a copy 🙂 It will be up at BN in the very near future as well.
Wild Mates (BML 4) has been riding Siren’s best seller list since its release February 25th! Jordan’s story is officially out, and I sure hope you all enjoy it! The violence isn’t as magnified in this book, although the effects of Jordan’s torture plague the story, and the relationship. Wondering how he and Lilia overcome the struggles of their past? WM is available (www.bookstrand.com/wild-mates-dark-moon-redemption) at a discount for a limited time.
I am hoping to finish up my vampire novel so I can start on the next Casanova story. The Ryder in this one is pounding to come out on paper, and he won’t be held back much longer.
Okay, so I won’t make you wait any longer. I did not leave a lot of time with the last contest. This one will be open from today until 11:59 pm (est) Friday, March 8th, and the winner will be able to choose one ebook of his/her choice either from the BML series or the CC series (Mandy’s will not be available for delivery most likely until the end of March). The contest is easy. Leave a comment on this post telling me what you like most in a paranormal romance and why. Your comment can be the type of paranormal (werewolves, vampires, etc), the tone of the story (lighthearted and sweet, or dark and gritty), but I really want to hear why 🙂
One last thing before I bow out. The cover for Mandy’s Homebound Cowboys arrived in my inbox this morning and I’m so excited to share it with you!
I look forward to reading your responses! Good luck!!
I have anticipated this day for a long time now. After taking time off to spend with the baby, I’m back in my writer’s chair, plugging away at one of the things I absolutely love to do: Write.
And today marks the reason why I love writing, and that’s to share my stories with you, my readers.
Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys, the first in the Casanova Cowboys series, is now available at Siren (http://www.bookstrand.com/lexis-untamed-cowboys), and at a 15% discount until February 4th.
I’ll be hard at work finishing up the edits for Jordan’s story (BML 4), and keeping my fingers crossed that CC 2 will be accepted by Siren. I’ve done light plotting for the rest of the CC series, but I’m currently working on a paranormal (yummy vampires) story to share with everyone. I’ll be keeping you apprised of progress in the undead department!
I hope you enjoy Lexi’s story with her sexy cowboys, Travis and Brent!
First let me start by saying Merry Christmas, as today is Christmas Eve Day! And Happy Holidays to everyone!
I know it’s been almost a year since I last posted. I sincerely apologize for my absence. Things this past year have been hectic, to say in the least. The baby’s growing, and she is a terror. I love her to death! She is the complete opposite of how my son was as a baby. This one gets into everything! Lol! No exaggeration there. My time comes during naps and late nights. I’ve also taken on the exciting goal of obtaining a degree at the same time my husband is working toward his own degree. So, it’s definitely been crazy.
The past four months have been relaxing, if one could call cramming everything possible into four months before core classes begin “relaxing”. I have a game plan that I’ve been working out this past year in hopes of continuing the Casanova Cowboys series while studying. It’s going to be a challenge, but I’m determined to continue to get a book out a month with Siren. I’m already into book two, and have a couple more semi-plotted out. I’m definitely not a plotter, but cracked down and plotted to make the most of the little time I’ll have over the next 16 months (that’s how long it’ll take to finish school).

Ahh, I’m changing tunes here. Everyone familiar with the BML series knows that dark and grit is pretty common in my romances. Well, with this new CC series (not Canadian Club 🙂 ), you’ll notice a lighter tone. Yes, there’s danger and conflict and a dash of dark grit, but nothing like in BML. This series didn’t call for that. Instead, I’m finding myself craving chicken and dumplings, or scones. Maybe some fresh peaches off Miss Bess’s trees and a nice trail ride on one of Travis’s horses. I can’t wait to share an excerpt with everyone. I should have one in the next month or so for ya!
Wild Mates, Dark Moon Redemption, BML 4
Many of you may have heard that I’ve written the fourth, and final, book of the Blood Moon Legacy series. Jordan’s story has been told, and yes, it was a dark book to write. I wanted to make sure his internal battles were drawn out for the maximum effect, as he wished them to be known. He’s fighting his “beast”, the monster inside him, and it is as much a part of him as his good wolf spirit. He was tortured, and even though it was only a short time, Eva did damage not even Jordan’s mate could have foreseen.
But even through the darkness, there is a HEA, and I’m certain you will be pleased with the outcome 🙂 I may have a spin-off series in the making–this I’m not sure of yet, but it’s a possibility for the future.
As soon as I have a cover for Wild Mates, I’ll be posting it.
I think many people can relate to this. I was two chapters away from completing my vampire novel that I had planned to submit prior to CC, and when I tried pulling up the file, it was gone. Completely and utterly gone. 172 pages of work disappeared, leaving me on the verge of a severe panic attack. After that incident, it took a week to get back on track and focus on the CC series, laying my vampires to rest in their coffins until I could muster up the desire to face that story again. I have salvaged 70 pages that, thankfully, I printed before the file vanished. I plan on finishing this story, again, within the next couple months. That may be the next project after CC 2 is complete.
In addition to the CC series, I’m toying with an idea for a dragon shifter series. I would LOVE to hear some opinions about this! I also hope to plot out a short wintry romance series for 2014. Thinking about heating up a ski lodge in Colorado. How about melting some snow?
My plan is to have the last CC book come out in December of 2013 (yes, I know exactly what the story will be and how it’s going to be written, but can’t do it until I’m through with the rest of the series 🙂 ). At this time, I don’t foresee any spin-offs. I hope you all enjoy this new series!
To everyone during this holiday season: May you all have a happy, healthy, wish-granting, loving Christmas! Don’t eat too many cookies. I’ve already suffered my belly-ache for the season 😉
