Release Day!

I have anticipated this day for a long time now. After taking time off to spend with the baby, I’m back in my writer’s chair, plugging away at one of the things I absolutely love to do: Write.

And today marks the reason why I love writing, and that’s to share my stories with you, my readers.

Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys, the first in the Casanova Cowboys series, is now available at Siren (http://www.bookstrand.com/lexis-untamed-cowboys), and at a 15% discount until February 4th.

I’ll be hard at work finishing up the edits for Jordan’s story (BML 4), and keeping my fingers crossed that CC 2 will be accepted by Siren. I’ve done light plotting for the rest of the CC series, but I’m currently working on a paranormal (yummy vampires) story to share with everyone. I’ll be keeping you apprised of progress in the undead department!

I hope you enjoy Lexi’s story with her sexy cowboys, Travis and Brent!

Excerpt from Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys, out January 28th!

I’m hard at work finishing up the last little details on CC 2 and hopefully will have it in this evening.  Yay!  The exciting news is that Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys, Casanova Cowboys 1 is due out January 28th from Siren (www.bookstrand.com/lexis-untamed-cowboys).  It is available for pre-order, and there’s a 15% discount from now until February 4th (don’t miss out!).  What better way to steam up pre-Valentine’s Day than with hot cowboys lovin’ a hot city gal in a hot menage romance?  Umm, I’ll take some of that snow over here!  Need something to keep the temperature down 🙂

I do not have a release date for Wild Hunts at this time, but will let you know as soon as I do.

And here, a brand new excerpt from Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys!

Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys

(Explicit)

She lowered her gaze from Brent, trying to figure out the best way

to word her next nagging thought. “Um, how did you and Travis…”

“Ah, that.” Brent chuckled, a deep, husky sound that rippled

through her body and strummed her aroused core.

“Travis was under the impression I struck something in you last

night, but if you two are…well, you know—”

He pressed a finger to her lips, quieting her with a soft “shh.”

“You caught his attention when he picked you up off the side of

the road. First time I heard him piqued since we started our

relationship.” His hand smoothed back her bangs and cupped the back

of her head. Her heart stammered as he angled her face up to his.

“The moment I laid eyes on you, I could see why.”

“I would never have guessed that either of you held that type of

interest. You’re both so…masculine. You certainly have your pick of

women.”

“Doll, we’re as masculine as they come. Our relationship is not a

typical one. Nor is it a public matter. Miss Bess may have a suspicion,

but we try to be caught with a woman in town every now and again.

Most women are after Travis’s name and money. Me? I’m a bit jaded

when it comes to the fairer sex.”

Lexi’s hopes suddenly fell flat. “Oh. Is it about that time again?

I’d make an easy fling, being that I’ll be leaving when my car’s

fixed.”

Brent’s eyes narrowed on her. His face hovered a few inches over

hers, those kissable lips of his drawn taut. “Now what would make

you think you’d be a fling? I wouldn’t indulge in stories, and certainly

not my private life, if I wanted a fling.”

“The timing of the comment had me wondering.” She tamped

down the foolishness that rose heat in her face.

“If I were to kiss you, would the timing be off?” The hand resting

against her lower back slid to her ass and cupped one of her cheeks.

“Because I’ve been wantin’ to taste that mouth of yours since dinner

last night.”

A split second passed before she felt the heat of Brent’s lips brush

against hers. The tease of a kiss tugged every cord in her body tight as

wire, vibrating in her womb. She slung her arms around his neck,

pressed her body flush to his, and opened her mouth to his kiss.

Brent explored her mouth with slow, lazy sweeps of his tongue.

He kissed away the soft moan that rolled up her throat, filling her with

the masculine, hot taste of him. She drank in the subtle flavor of

sweetness as the strength in his kiss consumed her mind.

Her body reacted like a set of fireworks lit in concession with

each other. She arched into him, pressing her heavy breasts against

the hard planes of his chest. The whisper of friction against her

nipples sent a spray of tingles straight to her clit. Moisture filled her

pussy, the warm itch spreading from her labia to her lower gut.

Pressing up on her toes, she tilted her hips, seeking a semblance of

relief in his cock bulge.

The skirt around her thighs bunched. Brent’s rough, callused palm

slid against her skin, a deep, rumbling groan escaping him to resonate

in her chest. His hand was strong, masculine, the hand of a capable

man. The unsteady release of his breath gave away his tenuous

control, his fingers splaying along her thigh, drawing closer to the

hem of her panties.

Back in Action

Hi everyone!
First let me start by saying Merry Christmas, as today is Christmas Eve Day! And Happy Holidays to everyone!

I know it’s been almost a year since I last posted.  I sincerely apologize for my absence.  Things this past year have been hectic, to say in the least.  The baby’s growing, and she is a terror.  I love her to death!  She is the complete opposite of how my son was as a baby.  This one gets into everything! Lol!  No exaggeration there.  My time comes during naps and late nights.  I’ve also taken on the exciting goal of obtaining a degree at the same time my husband is working toward his own degree.  So, it’s definitely been crazy.

The past four months have been relaxing, if one could call cramming everything possible into four months before core classes begin “relaxing”.  I have a game plan that I’ve been working out this past year in hopes of continuing the Casanova Cowboys series while studying.  It’s going to be a challenge, but I’m determined to continue to get a book out a month with Siren.  I’m already into book two, and have a couple more semi-plotted out.  I’m definitely not a plotter, but cracked down and plotted to make the most of the little time I’ll have over the next 16 months (that’s how long it’ll take to finish school).

Lexi’s Untamed Cowboys, Casanova Cowboys

Ahh, I’m changing tunes here.  Everyone familiar with the BML series knows that dark and grit is pretty common in my romances.  Well, with this new CC series (not Canadian Club 🙂 ), you’ll notice a lighter tone.  Yes, there’s danger and conflict and a dash of dark grit, but nothing like in BML. This series didn’t call for that.  Instead, I’m finding myself craving chicken and dumplings, or scones.  Maybe some fresh peaches off Miss Bess’s trees and a nice trail ride on one of Travis’s horses. I can’t wait to share an excerpt with everyone.  I should have one in the next month or so for ya!

Wild Mates, Dark Moon Redemption, BML 4

Many of you may have heard that I’ve written the fourth, and final, book of the Blood Moon Legacy series.  Jordan’s story has been told, and yes, it was a dark book to write.  I wanted to make sure his internal battles were drawn out for the maximum effect, as he wished them to be known.  He’s fighting his “beast”, the monster inside him, and it is as much a part of him as his good wolf spirit.  He was tortured, and even though it was only a short time, Eva did damage not even Jordan’s mate could have foreseen.

But even through the darkness, there is a HEA, and I’m certain you will be pleased with the outcome 🙂  I may have a spin-off series in the making–this I’m not sure of yet, but it’s a possibility for the future.

As soon as I have a cover for Wild Mates, I’ll be posting it.

Future ideas.

I think many people can relate to this. I was two chapters away from completing my vampire novel that I had planned to submit prior to CC, and when I tried pulling up the file, it was gone.  Completely and utterly gone.  172 pages of work disappeared, leaving me on the verge of a severe panic attack.  After that incident, it took a week to get back on track and focus on the CC series, laying my vampires to rest in their coffins until I could muster up the desire to face that story again.  I have salvaged 70 pages that, thankfully, I printed before the file vanished.  I plan on finishing this story, again, within the next couple months.  That may be the next project after CC 2 is complete.

In addition to the CC series, I’m toying with an idea for a dragon shifter series.  I would LOVE to hear some opinions about this!  I also hope to plot out a short wintry romance series for 2014.  Thinking about heating up a ski lodge in Colorado.  How about melting some snow?

My plan is to have the last CC book come out in December of 2013 (yes, I know exactly what the story will be and how it’s going to be written, but can’t do it until I’m through with the rest of the series 🙂 ).  At this time, I don’t foresee any spin-offs.  I hope you all enjoy this new series!

To everyone during this holiday season:  May you all have a happy, healthy, wish-granting, loving Christmas!  Don’t eat too many cookies.  I’ve already suffered my belly-ache for the season 😉

xoxo
