Ringing in 2011
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a splendid, fun, exciting holiday month. I know I did 🙂
I ended 2010 on a good note, submitting my edits for Wild Nights early. Yay! 2011 is starting with my proposed third book in the Blood Moon Legacy series almost half way complete. I’m truly enjoying this story, all the twists, the turns, the complications and obstacles my characters are forced to faced. Oooo, I can’t wait to submit it to my publisher! With each BML story, my characters become deeper, more intense, and infinitely more troubled. The stakes are being raised. Those whites will never be without someone, or something, trying to hunt them down.
For those of you waiting for information on Wild Nights, I have not received a definite release date yet. However, it is on Siren’s Coming Soon list. Oh, the excitement is mounting with each day, bringing me closer to release (uh, yeah no. Not quite that type of release, lol!). In the mean time, I’ll be rapidly typing away at my new story, and hopefully will have the fourth done by April.
The BML series, when I first started writing it, was meant only to be a trilogy. Three families, three whites, six mates. Well, I have four Dark Moon sisters. What to do with that last one. Hmmmm.
I already know the answer, in case you were wondering 😉
But you’ll just have to wait to see what happens in Wild Nights and book three to find out.
As for my New Year’s Resolution? Well, to be honest with you, I didn’t make one…yet. I know writing tops the list. More than I wrote last year, for sure. Stopping to smell the roses may be another. Guess I’ll be spending some serious time in my garden, trying to revive the ten rose bushes I’ve neglected. Maybe trying something new, touching upon a new genre in the erotic romance isle. Definitely reading more, since I received a fabulous Nookcolor for Christmas-I love my Santaman 🙂
Share some of your NYRs with me. What are your hopes for 2011? What are your goals? Dreams (Without dreams, we have nothing to motivate us and drive us forward)? What are you planning to do differently this year to get to where you want to be?
